Keith Pearce is the Director of Personal Financial Services at Hendricks Sports Management.
Keith Pearce joined Hendricks Sports Management in 2006. He has over 20 years of experience in tax preparation and financial planning. Prior to coming to HSM, Keith was a Manager with the international accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided a wide variety of audit and tax services. He specialized in Personal Finance Services, where he worked with management in developing a client base of executive and high net worth individuals to which he provided comprehensive tax planning and financial related services. His client list included U.S. and overseas-based Senior Executives of large multi-national companies such as Dell, Compaq, ExxonMobil, Shell, Schlumberger and Marathon Oil. Prior to his position with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Keith held a position with the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche.
In addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, he is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) that is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and Colorado. As a CPA, Keith has represented his clients before the Internal Revenue Service, as well as other governmental agencies. He has negotiated numerous settlements on behalf of individuals and corporations both at the federal and state levels.
In addition to Keith's tax background, he has been employed by YoungLife, a nationally recognized non-profit organization, where he functioned as a company officer as well as serving as a member on the organization's Pension Committee. In his capacity as the company's Director of Risk Management, Keith was heavily involved in the review, renewal, and interpretation of various insurance policies. Specifically, this required that he formulate, implement, and oversee insurance policies and procedures; serve as a liaison to brokers, carriers and other third party vendors; review contractual insurance language; identify and evaluate loss exposure and develop programs to mitigate risk exposure; investigate claims and oversee legal settlements.
Keith received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. He received scholarships from Arthur Young and the United States Marine Corps.
Keith was born in Baytown, Texas. Due to his father having served as a special forces officer in the United States Army, he attended 14 different schools in 7 states as well as in England and Germany before graduating from high school. Keith and his wife, Tamira, have three young daughters.
